At DONTE GROUP, we have renewed our collaboration agreement with C\u00e1ritas to continue promoting access to oral healthcare for people in vulnerable situations. In doing so, we are consolidating a project that, during its first year, has demonstrated a highly significant impact on improving the oral health of the people we serve. <\/p>\n\n
The renewal of the agreement ensures the continuity of an initiative that has far exceeded the forecasts set for its initial phase. At the launch of the partnership, our goal was to treat around 30 people; however, during this first year, a total of 65 individuals in vulnerable situations have been treated after being referred to Vitaldent clinics. <\/p>\n\n
In addition, the data reflects the diversity of the profiles served. Adults account for approximately 51% of beneficiaries, followed by children (25.5%), while 15.7% are young people and 7.8% are retirees. In terms of gender, around 63% of those treated are women and 37% are men. <\/p>\n\n
Following an initial implementation phase, the programme is now entering a stage of greater territorial presence. We continue working with the initially participating C\u00e1ritas organisations \u2014 C\u00e1ritas Diocesana de Madrid (also expanded to Vicar\u00eda II) and C\u00e1ritas Diocesana de Alcal\u00e1 de Henares \u2014 while incorporating new C\u00e1ritas organisations into the network: C\u00e1ritas Diocesana de Sig\u00fcenza-Guadalajara and C\u00e1ritas Diocesana de Albacete. This strengthens the project\u2019s reach and improves our capacity to deliver care across different communities. <\/p>\n\n

Consolidation of a social healthcare model<\/strong><\/p>\n\n During this second year, we are driving the programme\u2019s evolution towards a more robust management model, incorporating improvements in data recording systems, patient follow-up, and coordination between organisations. Our goal is to facilitate continuity of care and enhance the evaluation of the project\u2019s social and healthcare impact. <\/p>\n\n This approach enables us to move towards a more structured intervention, focused not only on one-off care but also on the sustained improvement of the oral health of the people we serve.
